Performance Manager (Commercial, Analytics)

Are you a commercially astute self-starter with experience in a consumer led business? Are you able to discover trends in data and find your way around a P&L to create new and innovative ways to enhance business performance? GoCompare have an exciting opportunity for a numerate and commercial problem solver to take ownership of the management and monitoring of the end-to-end performance of GoCompare across all product areas.

You will be a lateral thinker, who thrives under the spotlight of senior management, and have the drive to improve business performance, whilst tracking progress and acting as a link between all functional areas to ensure everyone is pulling in the same direction.

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

  • Strong commercial awareness with understanding of financial performance metrics.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret trends and market drivers
  • Knowledge of online/digital/direct-to-consumer industry
  • Experience of working with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Awareness of the implications of working in a regulated environment

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Monitors performance, identifying and highlighting where action is required.
  • Provides clear and actionable recommendations or options.
  • Supports each of the functional areas in their evaluation of performance to ensure accuracy of decision making throughout the business.
  • Co-ordinates cross functional teams to better deliver improvements in business performance.
  • Supports the business planning cycle, scheduling of initiatives and goal setting.
 

Who you’ll be working with

Various Internal Stakeholders – Promotes a test and learn culture that constantly evaluates performance and identifies improvements to generate the highest ROI across the full revenue cycle.
