The job in a nutshell

Our market leading start-up Look After My Bills business is changing the energy sector one customer at a time by offering to take the hassle out of switching your energy provider year on year and ensuring our customers are on the best deal for them.

The customer experience is at the heart of this success and you will be responsible for representing the voice of our customers and making a difference to how they are able to simplify their lives through their everyday bills and pounds in their pocket.

We are a business driven by customer centricity and as a member of the customer service team, you will solve customers queries and deliver to them an exceptional experience that contributes to customer growth and continuous improvement in terms of systems and processes.

Our staff's health and wellbeing is fundamental to our success. In the wake of what are unusual times it is worth noting that the whole team are working remotely at present - so virtual interviews will be part of this process and should you be successful, you'll be working remotely too for the initial period.

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

  • You will represent the company's voice, communicating with customers via email and phone and promoting the company's image and work
  • You will address the customer’s queries and solve their issues as they are raised, delivering an amazing customer service
  • You will work with a dynamic team in a dynamic environment, adapting and reacting to new challenges and solving new problems  
  • You will take responsibility for your work, organizing and prioritizing yourself when necessary​

What you’ll be responsible for

● We want to be great, so we’re looking for great people: you will either have an excellent academic record or proven experience in customer service/similar role - including experience on the phone

● Most of the work will require using software and online platforms: we’ll provide full training, but you must be computer literate (Microsoft Office, Google Docs, etc.)

● Experience or knowledge of the energy industry is desirable but not necessary

The customer service team will interact with the wider business including tech, product and commercial teams to ensure we work as one unified team to achieve better experiences for our customers.
