We have an interim opportunity as a Group Head of Talent at GoCo Group. As Group Head of Talent, you will be working across all of our brands to help recruit and develop some of the brightest minds in the sector. From employee value proposition and selection through to our GoFurther Academy and development programmes, you will be sat firmly in the driving seat helping the Group in its ambitious plans to be a talent hotspot.

This role is the perfect mix of operational management and hands-on delivery.

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

As Group Head of Talent, you will have in-depth experience of both talent attraction and talent development. You’ll understand the importance of collaborative working and have excellent stakeholder management skills.

Being organised? You are a natural… able to work with the wider People team to ensure that the departments People and Talent roadmap is on track and being delivered.

An understanding of new and existing sourcing techniques coupled with a creative approach to our overall employee proposition are all key elements of the role.

Being a talented professional yourself, you will understand what it takes to develop skills within our teams, identifying future talent and creating pathways of development within a relatively flat structure.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Overseeing the Group’s talent attraction, mobility and development programmes
  • Delivery of fit for purpose learning and development interventions
  • Identifying skills gaps and working with business stakeholders to fill them
  • Developing internal talent through new and existing talent initiatives
  • Attracting and recruiting the talent needed to make the Group a success
  • Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure cohesion and efficiency
  • Managing a team of high performing professionals all engaged with the Group and its success

  • The wider people and talent team to ensure consistency, efficiency and a rounded approach
  • Business stakeholders from across the Group to ensure they are supported in their talent attraction and development needs
