Sales Development Manager

Working under Platform Services, you will have a unique opportunity to unlock the true potential of propositions designed to take the hassle away from saving money – simply put, you will develop client relationships, to grow our API product that can revolutionise the way millions of people save money.

This is a business development role that will be the perfect fit for an Account Development Manager or Client Success Manager with experience in the Financial Technology / SaaS industry, to drive B2B partner relationships and develop our B2B platform offering in line with client needs.

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

  • Experience in leading business development and supporting account management functions within the financial technology industry
  • Experience in pitching tech solutions to organisations of all sizes and profiles (startups to established businesses)
  • Understanding of CRM software (salesforce)
  • Excellent client/customer-facing communication skills
  • Basic understanding of Analytics and reporting within Excel and administration area
  • Strong experience in prospecting, account mapping and operating within a sales process
  • Stakeholder awareness and management skills
  • Experience with enquiry management, lead/sales development

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Responding to, monitoring and categorising inbound enquiries
  • Creating outbound leads through research, networking and prospecting
  • Delivering a consultative sales approach and adapting propositions to fit clients’ needs
  • Influence and crafting communications material which optimally delivery our brand and proposition
  • Plan and prepare bespoke sales materials for new client meetings
  • Maintain accurate CRM records within the account management software, mapping stakeholders and understanding objectives
  • Utilising performance indicators and customer/prospect feedback to enable data driven decisions
  • Developing reports for an accurate view of sales activities
  • Lead the creation, qualification and relevant handover of leads to other partners within the team
  • Support the creation and maintenance of the onboarding documentation
  • Support and streamline customer onboarding and product integration
