Partner Development Manager

We have an opportunity for a Partner Development Manager to join our Partnerships team who will build, consistently review and deliver agreed partner business plans. The Partner Development Manager will primarily be responsible for the management of insurance partners; driving enhanced links with partners to gain priority against our competitors.

This is a role within a key growth area and offers the opportunity to network with all facets of the business!

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

You will have prior experience of working within the insurance market or an FCA regulated environment with experience or a strong understanding of PCW and insurance developments. You will demonstrate resilience and a desire to successfully lead partner relationships as well as:

  • Previous experience of working in a key account or relationship management role
  • Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Financially astute with a strong commercial knowledge and understanding
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Developing and agreeing annual Joint Business Plans and balanced scorecards with strategic partners, in line with the wider commercial objectives
  • Proactively supervising individual partner performance through a continuous business review cycle - identifying and developing initiatives to drive incremental growth and close any gaps
  • Generating new partner proposals in line with the strategic partner intent, ensuring they add value to the panel, are adequately resourced and best serve the needs of our customers
  • Leading the day-to-day engagement and negotiation with partners in order to achieve delivery of agreed KPI's and to ensure appropriate levels of communication and engagement to best serve our mutual goals
  • Measuring and monitoring partners against a broad range of performance KPI's across both contractual obligations and business objectives, ensuring adequate communication and feedback
  • Leading new partner on-boarding (and removal) in line with business process, including contract negotiation and pricing
  • Monitoring partner compliance with FCA requirements
  • Conduct industry and market benchmarking and maintain an extensive knowledge of relevant categories.
