Customer Support Assistant (Non-Complaints)

The job in a nutshell

Are you an experienced call agent/customer service advisor well versed in handling customer complaints within a contact centre environment? Are you interested in working within a fast-paced tech business whereby you will interface cross collaboratively with commercial, IT, compliance and web teams to provide the customer with a voice and ensure GoCompare continues to be a consumer champion that helps people save time and money?

If the answer to the above is yes, then we are very interested to hear from you. You will be able to answer all incoming customer queries and complaints within service level agreements and in line with policy and procedures. 

You will be the first point of call for GoCompare and remain driven and consistent in offering the best service to potential and existing customers via email, webchat and over the phone. You will contribute to ensuring repeat custom to GoCompare through effectively handling queries and continuously improve customer experience.

 

Please note due to the current ongoing situation with COVID-19 we are unable to hold assessment centre. Shortlisted candidates will receive a 1st stage call and held until we are able to conduct assessment centre again. 

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

  • Five GCCEs (or equivalent) grade A* - C, including English and Maths or relevant work experience
  • Experience working within a customer service and/or customer facing role
  • Ability to remain calm, polite and courteous at all times
  • Good verbal and written skills

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Answers queries from customers and business partners within agreed SLAs
  • Investigates and helps determine the cause of issues, resolving and recording all queries in line with company and FCA guidelines
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of products and services offered by the company and its business partners

Who you’ll be working with

  • Commercial team – to investigate and resolve customer queries, ensuring no recurrence
  • Tech – root cause analysis and resolution of queries
  • Product – inform about issues found, agree resolutions and help to test changes
