This is where you come in. We need your help to deliver this message as our journey continues. GoCompare is on the search for a talented and inventive Head of Brand & Campaigns to join our Brand Preference Team.

Reporting into the VP of Brand Preference, you will drive brand awareness, preference and relevance; trialling new approaches so we continue to learn and grow, as well as evaluating the value of our marketing activities. You will be a guardian of the GoCompare brand and use your proven creative flair to challenge the status quo.

Flexible working will be encouraged in this role and the successful person should be comfortable with splitting their time at home and our Newport and London offices.

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

You will be a talented brand marketer who has experience of launching successful, direct to consumer campaigns. You will be at home operating at a ‘head of’ level and can apply your broad knowledge of media – strategy, planning and execution to new and innovative methods. Alongside this, the following would be beneficial;

  • Extensive creative and media agency management
  • Good knowledge of current research methodologies and campaign performance evaluation
  • Personal skills: hands-on, authentic, good emotional intelligence, loves learning, tries new things

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Developing the GoCompare annual campaign, creative and media strategy
  • Championing cultural, consumer and creative insight to deliver outstanding work
  • Defining the role of the brand in the UK today maintaining relevance and cut-through
  • Overseeing agency campaign briefing and development – including creative and media
  • Leading a virtual team to build holistic campaigns across all paid and unpaid media 
  • Ensuring the GoCompare brand is embedded in all touchpoints and internal processes
  • Overseeing the development of the brand visual identity, tone of voice, training and compliance
  • Managing the budget, negotiating contracts and defining third-party PRFs
  • Evaluating (with third party advice) the quality, delivery and value to the business of all media buying
  • Define KPIs, oversee performance tracking and provide campaign ROI
  • Create engagement and excitement in the business around campaign activity
  • Create a ‘one team’ culture with our creative and media agencies

  • GoCo Group functions – Finance, Legal
  • Agency Management – Creative (Droga5) and Media (Hearts&Science)
