Partner Development Executive

The job in a nutshell

You will balance the day-to-day commercial relationships and performance for a group of core external partners via various methods of communication and become the main internal contact for partner issues such as on-boarding, communications and the change process.

GoCompare have an exciting development opportunity for a high performing Partner/Account Executive to undertake a meaningful role in our Partner Development team during an exciting period of growth.

GoCompare has been disrupting the insurance market since 2006 and has no plans of slowing down! Significant to supporting this is the development and success of our existing partner relationships. We are looking for someone with a wealth of experience in internal and external communication with customers or suppliers to support some of our leading accounts.

The successful Partner Development Executive will become a key point of contact across a wider scope of internal departments for partner-led enquiries and contribute to GoCompare's overall mission to help our customers save time and money everywhere.

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

  • You will have previous experience in a commercial, sales or customer service role.
  • Good verbal and written social skills
  • Strong numerical reasoning
  • Basic Excel skills
  • Previous commercial experience including experience in negotiating commercial positions

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Manages partner requests on a reactive basis.
  • Monitors partner performance, proactively understanding and addressing issues.
  • Leads the commercial negotiations for these partners to an agreed target.
  • Seeks out new viable partners that could add new value to GoCo in the market
  • Manages total partners removing underperformers and setting targets across all key metrics
  • Conducts quarterly face to face business reviews with top 4/5 partners
  • Ensures partner compliance with both contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Supports Partner Development Managers with partner functions including;
    • Partner Communications and meeting MI Packs
    • Ensuring partners are within the contracted payment terms.
    • Managing & maintaining the partner contact system
    • Attend meetings with PDM’s to develop understanding
