Working in the Business Development team you will seek out organisations and products that offer new opportunities to keep our services the best on the market for our customers.

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

  • Previous relationship management/business development experience in online/digital/direct-to-consumer business
  • Experience in growing high volume digital sales through analysis and fact based business proposals
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate complex commercial relationships
  • Experience of engaging and influencing relevant stakeholders – both internally and externally
  • Ability to coordinate individuals and form cross-functions teams focused on the same objective
  • Ability to analyse and interpret trends and market drivers
  • Working knowledge of FCA and working in a regulated environment

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Manages third party relationships to maximise the revenue and profit generated from them
  • Analyses existing performance metrics and creates a development pipeline to own and deliver against
  • Grows digital sales through analysis and fact-based business proposals across new products and partnerships
  • Contributes to the development of the strategy for each third party partner and ensures these are delivered
  • Creates joint business plans with partners based on understanding of partner needs, business model, strategies and customers
  • Proactively addresses issues and opportunities to ensure that all customer experience and commercial goals are achieved
  • Leads the (re-)negotiation of commercial agreements with partners to ensure incremental benefits are delivered YoY
  • Helps validate the commercial viability and delivery of strategic opportunities outside of the remit of the wider team
  • Ensures all partners act in compliance with their contractual obligations as well as keeping up-to-date with any industry regulatory requirement changes
  • Conducts full funnel commercial analysis to identify opportunities or issues, and make suitable recommendations – following through to completion
