We want to be the best in the market at what we do, continually innovating to solve for our customers and staying one step ahead in an industry that is constantly changing.  We looking for people who live and breathe a product mind set, who bring collaborative ways of working and who are eager to constructively challenge traditional thinking.

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

About you:

  • You’ll be able to talk passionately about the products you’ve worked on, the impact you’ve had for consumers and what value you delivered for your business.  You know why you succeeded when you did, and why you didn’t when you didn’t.
  • You know how to tell the story of what you’re doing; finely craft a vision and confidently share that around the business, taking on board and integrating feedback.
  • You can’t imagine starting a project or answering a question without being able to evidence the customer’s point of view.  You have used a wide range of research techniques to understand customers and ensure you’re solving them.
  • But you also understand that successful products are commercially successful and you are conversant in the language and mechanics of business, able to articulate the value of what you’re doing and to find the delicate balance between customer demands and business benefit.
  • Data is your best friend, you spend time with it daily, you seek it out to validate and refute your hypotheses, you use it in your discussion with your team and in talking about your progress.
  • Your experience in eCommerce means you love to optimise and tweak, constantly finding new ways to improve journeys and increase the efficiency of the funnel.  You know exactly how important design is to achieve this and you’re used to working really effectively with your UX/UI colleagues.  What’s more you’re really excited by the opportunity that having a really large customer base gives you to build on the experience you already have with A/B or multivariant testing.
  • Above all else you’re a team player – you understand the range of experience and skills it takes to build great products and you’re brilliant at bringing people together to deliver.  You know how to balance opinions and can skilfully lead team debates to get to the right outcome for the customer and the business.  Your teams love solving problems together, even when they’re hard.

What you’ll be responsible for

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist in creating and driving the vision, roadmap and goals for the managed product lines over multiple P&Ls.
  • Contribute to the overall prioritisation of products, taking feedback from the squad, priorities from Marketing and Commercial teams and being conscious of the roadmap.
  • Develop product strategy, go-to-market plans, positioning, messaging and all elements related to the business case.
  • Work closely with design and tech colleagues to ensure the highest quality products are built that customers love.
  • Focus on creating product specifications, delivering projects, wireframes, UI/UX, A/B test and defining product rollout strategies.
  • Process, review and interpret large bodies of qualitative and quantitative data on customer usage patterns to uncover new insights to drive new product improvements.
  • Lead the vision and roadmap, manages prioritisation and delivers SEO products.
