Account Development Manager (Data / SAAS)

Working under Platform Services, you will have a unique opportunity to unlock the true potential of propositions designed to take the hassle away from saving money – simply put, you will develop client relationships, to grow our API product that can revolutionise the way millions of people save money.

This is a business development role that will be the perfect fit for an Account Development Manager or Client Success Manager with experience in the Energy / Data / SaaS industry, to drive B2B partner relationships and develop our energy product offering in line with client needs.

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

  • Experience selling API products for B2B2C.
  • Experience of the Energy industry is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills to build long-term relationships.
  • Ability to negotiate commercial deals.
  • Ability to interpret customer needs and new product opportunities.
  • Advanced analytical skills with ability to model out opportunities.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Highly organised.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Actively manages relationships with key accounts.
  • Owns business development plan for each account.
  • Seeks out new partnerships with consultative customer-focused sales approach.
  • Uncovers new product or service needs and drives sales to conclusion.
  • Discovers opportunity in new market segments.
  • Provides commercial modelling and contract negotiation.
  • Maintains knowledge of landscape including competitor activity and strategic opportunities.
