Senior UX/UI Designer

The job in a nutshell

We have an exceptional opportunity for someone to join our talented Product team in the role of Senior UX/UI Designer.

The role requires you to be a part of a team that validates, presents and formalizes ideas through design to ensure growth and maintain our key e-commerce product performances.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a UX/UI Designer who can come and really make a difference to our products; you will have the opportunity to work on high profile and user products across the GoCompare Group and new product development.

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

You will have experience leading design projects from inception to launch and good knowledge of user personas, usability practices, designing user journeys, user flows. 

As an Senior, you will be expert in common design tools such as sketch, Invision or equivalent. You’ll be able to turn both Qualitive and Quantitive data into an experience using prototyping methods.

You’ll have worked within a cross functional team with Product Managers and Engineers. As a senior, you’ll have experience mentoring other UX Designers.

Knowledge of front end technologies a plus but not essential.

What you’ll be responsible for

You will be responsible for defining our latest UI direction across the entire group and working on existing and future thinking products alongside designers, researchers, PM’s and engineers.

You’ll have great exposure to multiple brands across the GoCo Group including GoCompare, weflip, myvouchercodes and more.

You will champion UX/UI across the group whilst providing a governance of high standard of design and run design critiques and workshops when required.

You’ll help define and shape our powerful design system and other toolkits.
