You will be pleased to know that GoCo Group have an exciting development opportunity for an experienced and high performing Business Development/Account or Customer Service Executive to undertake a meaningful role in our Energy Partner Development team during an exciting period of growth for GoCo Group.

Following the launch and success of GoCo Group’s most recent proposition, weflip, we are continuing to grow our teams; significant to this is the development and success of our existing partner relationships and we are looking for an Energy Partnership Development Manager to join the team.

We are looking for you to have excellent experience in internal or external facing communication with customers or suppliers and to have experience with Management Information. You will manage and develop strong collaborative working relationships with a wide range of energy partners whilst creating, reviewing and delivering agreed energy partner business plans and scorecard KPIs. Additionally, you will spot trends and use them to grow business opportunities within your sales pipeline.

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

•Previous experience in either a key account management or relationship management role.

•Experience of operating in the retail energy market on supplier or aggregator business.

•Ability to communicate and negotiate complex commercial relationships.

•Strong commercial knowledge and understanding.

•Good written and verbal communication skills.

•Experience of engaging and influencing relevant stakeholders – both internally and externally.

•Ability to coordinate individuals and form cross-functions teams focused on the same objective.

•Ability to analyse and interpret trends and market drivers.

Previous experience of working in a regulated environment.

What you’ll be responsible for

•Develop and agree annual Joint Business Plans and KPIs with a panel of energy partners, in line with the wider commercial objectives.

•Proactively monitor individual energy partner performance through a continuous business review cycle - identify and develop initiatives to drive incremental growth and close any gaps.

•Generate new partner proposals for products or tariffs in line with the strategic partner intent, ensuring they add value to the panel, are adequately resourced and best serve the needs of our customers.

•Manage the day-to-day engagement and negotiation with partners in order to achieve delivery of agreed KPIs and to ensure appropriate levels of communication and engagement to best serve our mutual goals.

•Measure and monitor partners against a broad range of performance KPIs across both contractual obligations and business objectives, ensuring adequate communication and feedback.

•Manage new partner on-boarding (and removal) in line with business process, including contract negotiation and pricing.

•Negotiate best value and market leading consumer offers in line with data driven market insights regarding growth opportunities

•Carry out industry and market benchmarking and maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the sector.

Who you’ll be working with

•Partners – relationship and account management and negotiation.

•Product - work closely with Product to ensure commercial priorities are understood and fed into any product development priorities.

•Builds and maintains strong cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Product, Finance, Compliance and other category teams to share best practice and promote collaboration.

Works alongside Legal and Compliance to ensure regulatory and contractual requirements are met
