Tech (IT) Departmental Administrator

Would you like to get into a career in IT/Tech but unsure which area you'd like to specialise in yet? We have a rare opportunity to join our high functioning IT (Tech) department, consisting of Software Engineers, Testers, DevOps and Infrastructure (to name just a few) in the role of department administrator.

This is an exciting role where you will work closely with the IT Asset and Governance Manager to help with day to day departmental admin duties and support with our IT procurement processes. Skills and experience you’ll need to have

•Skilled user of Microsoft Office.

•Excellent communication skills ,written and oral, with a wide range of colleagues and suppliers.

•Highly organised.

•Confidence and enjoyment of working in a busy, dynamic environment.

•A conscientious approach to all work.

•Previous administrative experience ideal.

What you’ll be responsible for

•Coordinating the IT Procurement process

•Setting up suppliers (including liaising with finance dept),

•Placing orders with suppliers.

•Dealing with invoice and payment queries.

•Responding to supplier queries.

•IT Governance Administration to assistance with the Governance team as required.

•Assist with Audit preparation as required

•Performing regular and routine IT tasks to aid and support the IT & Data department.

•Organise, schedule and arrange all meeting initiated by the IT Management team.

•Aid in training and travel arrangements for colleagues within the department.

•Aid in the organisation of department events.

Who you’ll be working with

•Liaises with 3rd party suppliers as required.

•Works closely with the accounts department.

•IT & Data management team.
