Senior Product Manager

The job in a nutshell

Our Senior Product Managers lead the Tribes, Product Managers, Owners and work closely with our Product Designers and Engineers to lead products from conception to launch; generating profitable revenue streams and always focussing on building the greatest possible customer experience.

As part of the Product Management team, you bridge technical and business worlds as you design technologies with creative and talented engineers and then zoom out to lead cross-functional teams across Commercial, Sales, Marketing and Finance.

You will creatively lead the vision and roadmap for a suite of products, manage prioritisation and deliver world class products to our users. You will work closely with the Commercial, Relationship and Marketing teams, synthesising their input into a high-impact product roadmap, communicating progress and changes.  You will manage the prioritisation process providing a rational and transparent method for determining priorities within the team.

You will focus on the quality and impact, demonstrating both quantitative and qualitative value of new and innovative products. You will also embrace continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

You will be hands-on throughout every step: product ideation, specification and design, and ultimately delivery and in market product management. You will demonstrate skills across business case development, user experience design, and have a high degree of technical knowledge.

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

With a relevant university degree or equivalent work experience you will be able to demonstrate a strong track record managing a leading consumer facing product (desktop and mobile). The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate managing significant growth of consumer products; through use of A/B and multi-variate testing and customer research and successfully working with cross functional teams.

You will have full software development lifecycle experience from working in Agile squads and be used to working on mobile and desktop design.

Deep experience with analytics (especially Google Analytics) including conversion and engagement rates is essential for success. Previous experience with APIs and data driven product management is highly beneficial.

Not least, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Commits to excellence in delivery, ensuring the quality of all products by following and improving standards, being innovative and adopting best practices
  • Enjoys iteratively delivering products and is accountable for their performance throughout their life
  • Supports the growth of the product team, actively working with other Product Managers to develop a world-class product team focused on design and outstanding customer experience
  • Drives the team’s development with testing, utilising A/B testing resources and customer research to create product theories and test them quickly
  • Establishes and continuously improves the culture of your team, is an open communicator, collaborative and proactive in team discussions
  • Focuses on creating Product Specs, Delivering Projects, Wireframes, UI/UX, A/B tests and defining Product Rollout Strategies

Who you’ll be working with

  • Taking feedback from the squad, priorities from Marketing and Commercial and being conscious of the roadmap, you will contribute to the overall prioritisation of products
  • You will have the technical background to work closely with our engineering team
  • You will be best friends with Designers and build beautiful products that users love
