The job in a nutshell

GoCompare Group is in the midst of executing on its Mission to help people everywhere save time and money via its vision to bring Savings as a Service to people across the UK and beyond. This role will play a pivotal part of the Marketing roadmap; directly leading into this strategy.

You will own and lead the customer Loyalty vision; which will incorporate retention and acquisition of new customers and driving the strategic direction of customer value across the organisation, through new channels and cross-sell.

The role will have responsibility across all Group brands; GoCompare – the household name for insurance comparison, MyVoucherCodes – the national voucher codes platform, EnergyLinx – the UK’s biggest B2B2C energy comparison provider and weFlip - the next generation in savings – auto-savings.

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

  • Extensive customer loyalty and CRM experience, including consistent track record of leading a team across multiple brands across several locations.
  • Solid background in customer acquisition.
  • Understanding of customer insight and ability to create opportunity.
  • Experience of working collaboratively with Product and Technology, prioritising revenue and strategic deliverables.
  • Ability to make sound business decisions and drive innovation within customer marketing channels.
  • Creative problem solving skills, ability to gain insights and deliver actionable plans.
  • Previous experience of applying customer segmentation and insight to plan and optimise campaigns.
  • Significant technical expertise with CRM and analytical tools.

What you’ll be responsible for

The overarching requirement is to build and deliver the customer acquisition strategy across our brands.

Additionally, you will:

  • Develop incentive and referral strategies to increase retention and consent opt-in.
  • Introduce and enhance Loyalty & Rewards programs.
  • Lead the Group envision and delivery loyalty program.
  • Lead the CRM Team and build a sustainable growth model.
  • Gain customer insight to understand audience motivations enforcing the value proposition and messaging.
  • Lead the development of new marketing communication channels to enhance customer experience to grow revenue.
  • Develops a strategy and associated processes increase the range of content available for customer communication.
  • Drives and develops new innovations in customer marketing channels and techniques staying ahead of competition.
  • Manage the budget to deliver existing initiatives and adapt spend based on market change.
  • Raise awareness of the customer asset in the Company.
