Our Product Management team plays a pivotal role in our continues success. As the first Product Manager in our Scotland office, you will bridge technical and business worlds as you design technologies with our creative and talented engineers and then zoom out to lead cross-functional, Agile teams, consisting of Engineering, Design, Marketing, Performance and Finance.

You will be directly responsible for the continued performance, innovation and delivery of a product nearly 2 million consumers have come to rely on every year, and driving that product to the Savings-as-a-service mission that GoCompare group will deliver to the market.

The role will require some travel to our Newport and London offices. 

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

•Demonstrated record in taking service products to leading market positions, in an Agile environment, and challenging timescales

•Experience in product management, API and solutions architecture.

•Experience in managing software development lifecycles (innovation, and mature growth)

•Experience in high performance eCommerce businesses.

•Experience with A/B and multi-variate testing and customer research/segmentation.

•Experience with analytics, including conversion and engagement rates.

•Relevant degree and/or equivalent work experience.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Creating and driving the vision, roadmap and goals for the managed product, all of which support the overall product strategy.
  • Contributes to the overall prioritisation of products, taking feedback from the squad, priorities from Marketing and Commercial teams and being conscious of the overarching roadmap.
  • Develops product strategy, go-to-market plans, positioning, messaging and all elements related to the business case.
  • Works closely with design and tech colleagues to ensure the highest quality products are built that customers love.
  • Focuses on creating product specifications, delivering projects, wireframes, UI/UX, A/B test and defining product rollout strategies.
  • Processes, reviews and interprets large bodies of qualitative and quantitative data on customer usage patterns to uncover new insights to drive new product improvements.
  • Leads the vision and roadmap, manages prioritisation and delivers products for the GoCompare business.

Who you’ll be working with

  • Reporting to a Product Director, you will work with a cross-functional team including designers and engineers to lead products from conception to launch.
  • You will play a pivotal part of the GoCompare Product team whose stakeholders include remote tech teams, Commercial, eCommerce and Marketing teams.
