HR Business Partner

Do you have a passion for people? Is collaborating with the wider business to provide people led solutions something that excites you?

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join the team in our Head Office in Newport.

You will be used to working in dynamic and agile environments and know how to handle conflicting priorities. You will be a point of contact for a number of business units who will look to you for best practice people management advice and direction.

Like getting involved in projects? There will be plenty of opportunities to do this as we continue to grow as a business. First up, a new people management system needs to be scoped and implemented so experience with HR systems would be a plus!

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

  • Prior experience of payroll processing and reporting
  • Business partnering
  • Experience across all aspects of the employee life cycle
  • Systems, data and reporting experience
  • Good commercial knowledge

What you’ll be responsible for

  • All aspects of payroll and reporting alongside our payroll bureaux
  • Partnering the business relating to all HR advice and interventions
  • Our all-employee reward frameworks, suppliers and benchmarking
  • HR Systems and reporting
  • Assisting in the delivery of our ambitious diversity and inclusion strategy

Who you’ll be working with

  • Business partners – you’ll be advising your partners on a regular basis regarding fit for purpose commercial people decisions and interventions
  • The wider people team – You will sit amongst subject matter experts in HR, recruitment, development, engagement and internal communications. It is important that our people team are aligned and deliver seamless partnering.
  • External suppliers – everyone from our benchmarking providers to our share scheme administrators and more. The ability to negotiate, manage and partner our suppliers will be an important part of the role.
