Product Designer

The job in a nutshell

We have an exceptional opportunity for someone to join our talented Product team in the role of Product Designer.

The role requires you to be involved in all aspects of the product development processes, utlitising a full range of product, interaction and visual responsive design skills, whilst owning the user experience for a wide area of products.

Skills and experience you’ll need to have

  • Demonstrable experience in designing and shipping websites, applications or software
  • Exposure to Optimizely is beneficial
  • Experience in running or designing for A/B tests
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design across different platforms
  • Experience with Application Design, Visual Design and Interaction Design and Responsive Web Design

  • Experience with front-end programming (HTML, CSS and Javascript)

  • Demonstrated experience with end-to-end (hybrid UX & UI) product design

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly articulate design decisions

  • Exceptional eye for details

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Turns conceptual idea into useful and valuable experiences for customers
  • Define and own guidelines for visual and interaction design on the website, ensuring consistency with the overall company brand guidelines
  • Oversee the user experience of a product from conception through to launch and beyond
  • Conceptualise and design new products and features for web and mobile applications
  • Constantly improve the visual and interaction design of products and continuously develop best practices for ensuring a high bar of quality
  • Use relevant data, feedback and analytics tools to identify pain points and improve current solutions

Who you’ll be working with

  • Collaborate with the Communications Design Team to ensure consistency with overall company brand guidelines
  • Work closely with product management, engineering and marketing to ensure a smooth product development process
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers and contents strategists with regard to user experience of products
